About

I like owning the whole problem: talking to users, designing the data model and APIs, building the interface, and getting it deployed and monitored. Most of my work is React and Node.js — Next.js on the front, NestJS or Express behind it, MongoDB or DynamoDB underneath.

NebulaAPI is where that shows best. I built it alone, from the first commit to payment integration, usage and revenue analytics, a separate admin CMS and four product sites — and grew it to 250+ users worldwide. At work I lead full-stack development, set up code review and mentor junior developers.

    • Lead end-to-end development of 3+ MERN applications, owning architecture decisions and API design for production systems.
    • Set up the code review process and mentor 2 junior developers, cutting delivery cycle time by an estimated 15–20%.

    • Built a remote freelance editing platform with real-time document collaboration for distributed teams (React, Node.js, MongoDB).
    • Made database queries ~30% faster with indexing and aggregation pipelines, and secured the platform with OAuth 2.0 and role-based access for 3 user roles.

    • Delivered INSTANT.RO and Footprints, two large-scale platforms for the Romanian market.
